I have noticed that if I have decided to do something and I have to do it the following day and there is some danger in it, I will get a warning that night about it, without even having prayed about it. But if it's something over a long time, I don't get an immediate warning, such that I even think it's ok to do it, only to find that the Lord eventually says it's not good for me but this could be after months. I would experience this silence despite praying to ask if I'm going the right way. Is this how God normally does it, ie immediately if it seems I'll b in immediate danger and delayed if there is no immediate danger? Or does it depend on the level of grace I'm at?
