1 john 5:6-8
This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.
2. What are the sins unto death and sins not unto death according to the verse of the same book?
16 If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.
Thanks sir
1. Blood ; As we all know " Blood" represent " life " . That is,the life in the flesh.
2. Water ; As in baptism, power of resurrection, holy spirit, the life beyond,or soul, most importantly, holy spirit.
That's why jesus couldn't fulfilled his calling until he was baptized, here :
◄ Luke 3:21-22 ►
When all the people were being baptized,
Jesus was baptized too. And as he was praying, heaven was opened and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: "You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased."
I believe, the symbol of water,as in baptize in water,is cleared?
In a nutshell, jesus came in form of ( blood) flesh but he was never and would never be flesh but ( water ; Spirit) but the spirit may come, witness and experience the flesh(blood), he came in form of flesh/blood hence the holy came was with him throughout so as the bear witness, as quoted in your bible verse, above, and I quote you :
Quote:Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.
So you see? He's spirit, but he came not by blood/flesh only but also by water ;
..which is the spirit that bereath witness because, the spirit is what...? The trust. Truth is what? Holy spirit, holiness, God et al.
Second question : [b]What are the sins unto death and sins not unto death?
• Sin against the holy spirit : sin unto Death.
• Sin against the father and son : Sin not unto death.
Why, because, father, son are full of compassion and mercy.
Why the holy spirit ; violent, fierce and almighty.
Who's this holy spirit? Well, the lord anger, son anger".
That is why the bible says :
◄ James 2:13 ►
There will be no mercy for those who have not shown mercy to others. But if you have been merciful, God will be merciful when he judges you.
This is why the bible verse you quoted above said :
If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.
NB : .. "I do not say that he will pray for it," but(confess) run to thy brother that thy had sinned against, or unto God because it's not unto death, there is still life, hope for restoration before death.
And it was complemented here, and I quote :
◄ Matthew 5:23 ►
"Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you,
leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift
