OK, let me ask the same question on my pub thread.
Most times, When danger or even death wants happen to somone both within my family and without, God shows it to me in my dream, I would pray concerning it with a heartbroken and tearful prayer, I may not pray d prayer twice and God will answer d prayer sharp sharp. But when it comes to my own issue, I will be asking God for a particular thing repeatedly and He will be as if not hearing me. This issue sometimes discourages me from praying in faith.
Pls help, pastor.

That is because, what you consider important is what God considers unimportant while these you consider not so important is what God considers important. Meaning, life is not all about you,your needs alone but the purpose to which God has called you or brought you into this world. But that being said doesn't mean that God had turned a deaf ear to your prayers it only means, it's not yet time for such as far as God is concern it's less important,for now.
Or don't you know that being a child of God is all about commitment to his will, words,instructions,and being sacrificial even when it's not convenience for you. Daughter? Heaven isn't a place for people who sees their earthly needs or spiritual expectations first above God's will and plans for our lives. That is why jesus said :
◄ Matthew 6:33 ►
But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
Obviously, God has something bigger coming for you beyond yours and that's why he's maintained silence. He's yet to reveal these to you though but God, knows that already and that's why the bible say :
◄ 1 Corinthians 2:9 ►
However, as it is written: "What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived" -- the things God has prepared for those who love him-
..thats why is seems God isn't paying attention. He hears and listens and know what he's doing. Therefore, peace! Be still!
