I am Blessing from Delta State. I am 33 years old.
I have been trusting God for a life partner and thought I would marry early but to my greatest surprise, the people that were coming were not the type I had envisaged for myself as a life partner.
At a point, I said to myself that maybe I’m being choosy: why not just calm down and go with the flow. Still, I wasn’t comfortable with the suitors coming. So I decided to take it easy and not just settle for anything less than what I had envisaged for myself.
I had always had dreams of my wedding and the kind of man I’d get married to. I always post them here and Pastor Bankole would give the interpretation and kept saying that he’s seeing the day of my wedding.
Fast track to the beginning of the lockdown in Delta State due to the coronavirus outbreak, I was at home when my mum’s church member who lives in our neighborhood came to my house on the 1st of April, 2020 and told my mother that she would want her son to get married to me. This son of hers doesn’t reside here in Nigeria.
My mum beckoned on me and told me that a week before this day, this her church member had told her the same thing. So I said it’s okay and requested to see the picture of her son. Lo, it was my childhood admirer (whom I didn’t know had been outside the country. The last time I saw him was when he was evangelizing in my street). The mother sent my picture and phone number to his son. On the 3rd of April, 2020, the son called me on WhatsApp video and he said to me straight that I am his wife..I took it lightly but he meant every word he said. That same month, he bought my wedding gown, shoes and some clothes and he proposed August, 2020 for our wedding but due to the coronavirus outbreak and the lockdown in Canada, he couldn’t make it. He did my introduction and bride price payment in August, 2020 (although he was absent) and in February, this man of God came to Nigeria and married me. Everything happened like a movie before my eyes.
This man is so caring and loving and above all, he loves God.
Pastor, I just want to appreciate God for making me to stumble on this beautiful Forum. Even when other suitors came and proposed (including a pastor), you clearly told me they were not the one.
Today, I am married to the man of my dreams; a lover of God all because I didn’t settle for anything less than what God has willed and purposed for me through your divine counsel Sir.
May God bless and continue to prosper you Sir.
PRAISE GOD!!!
