1. had a dream and I saw someone that looks like my younger sister trying to give me burnt food and my mom was watching her trying to give the food to me, then I woke up. I have also been seeing people trying to feed me in the dream, sometimes I see myself eating sometimes I don’t. I also sometimes see my late sister in the dreams too

3. I have constantly been having dreams of my two older sisters beating me up in the dream on different occasions. Sometimes I get really weak in the dream and find myself always regretting my life in the different occasions and series of beating. I prayed briefly about it. A few days before Christmas, the next day after praying one my older (who is beating) sister called me and said she has been upset with over a misunderstanding we had some month back, she said she’s no longer upset anymore, she said she has forgiven me. The next day I saw myself in a dream and someone was telling me that “it’s okay now” then I woke up.

2. I saw myself in a bus and all of a sudden the bus stopped and the driver said he wasn’t going anymore, everyone in the bus started comparing then I saw myself coming out of the bus with a show that looks like I was struggling to walk with then I saw my church pastor who I ask of that bus was he bad bus, my pastor said it is not, my pastor then told me to hold his hands let’s pray while we held hands to pray I woke up.

Yesterday we attended an event that changed my perspective on raising kids completely in US. I will try to summarize the key points as it will be helpful to all. The speaker was Dr. Leonard Sax. Even though it was at the Centre it was not related to any religion. The speaker is a Jewish Psychologist and author of a famous book call Collapse of Parenting. He had a lot of statistical information and tips to raise kids in America. Even though it was more focused on American Kids, it applies to bringing up Kids in the Age of Internet and Social Media, the evils of which have spread like an epidemic in the whole world. I can tell you that this was probably the best 3 hour workshop we attended. Even though a big segment was dedicated to social media, it was primarily about raising kids who will go on to have strong character and virtue. I have summarized the points below.

1) Statistically, the biggest indicator of success by age 32, is having self-control at age 12.
Success is determined by a lot of factors namely no drug , no criminal violation, having a stable job, good citizenship etc

2)  Make your kids speak their native language at home and with you. Reduce generation gap by involving their grandparents in their lives. If possible try to convince their grand-parents  to move in with you.

3) Make them feel proud of their heritage. Kids nowadays are ashamed to talk their language or wear their cultural attire. In a quest to fit in and assimilate they want to no longer associate with their roots.

4) Have a friend circle with folks whose kids also are able to communicate in the same mother tongue. This way the kids can talk the language among themselves.

5) Do not give them smart phones until you know they are responsible. Buy them a dumb phone if required. This phone will fulfill the needs.

6) He went onto compare American society of the 50s to now. The family unit used to be the focus of ads and movies. How media has changed. At that time shows that depict parents as role models having strong moral characters were popular. Now shows like Simpsons etc that show Parents as dumb are popular. Make sure u keep track of things your kids watch. The more they watch shows like this the more they will loose respect for you as a parent.

7) Keep them away from games that promote violence and vice. He talked about Fortnite and Grand Theft Auto. Grand theft auto in particular rewards a person for doing all the wrong stuff like stealing cars and killing people. What kind of character is that going to build. He talked about how violence in games is directly related to gun violence in America with statistical examples.
8) No TV or computers in the bedroom. Kids cannot be in the bedroom with screen whether its school work or something else. Make family room a place where screen time is allowed. Follow the example yourself as well. Bedroom should be a place to go to sleep not to socialize with the outside world.

9) Keep kids away from Instagram, Snapchat and Facebook if possible as long as possible. Put monitoring software on their devices so that every single picture they take or Share , u get notified. Take their phones away at 9 in the night and give it back to them in the morning. Tell them that this is a condition going forward if they would like to keep their  phone.

10) Be a peer to them but not a friend. If you become too friendly with the kids, they will start taking you for granted. Speak to them from a place of authority where No means No. When you take away the privileges from kids for their bad actions, they are going to resist. Be firm, remember you are the Parent.

11) Girls according to statistics are greatly influenced by Instagram and snapchat. Girls by nature will always post the good thing happening in their lives. This will create a false illusion among other girls and lead them to think that their life is a mess and make them go into depression. Boys are more influenced by video games. Limit screen time to 20 minutes a day during the week and 1 hour on weekends. But the condition is they complete all their school work. If they do not listen take away their devices.

12) Raise kids with humility. A very important characteristic. This can be inculcated by making them do chores at home even though u can afford maids. He said that the typical thing that parents say is  my son/daughter is already so busy I cannot burden him or her. This is a very wrong approach and will make your kids grow up with a feeling of entitlement and selfishness.

13) The biggest detrimental effect of increased screen time or social media is the displacement effect. Which means that the time they are spending on games is the time they are not spending on something useful.

14) Know what kind of music they listen to. The music of these times are ripe with sexual innuendo . Make sure they do not make people like Justin Bieber or Akon as their role models. He gave example of how the chartbuster song last year with some 1 billion or so downloads was filled with the most sexual content imaginable.

15) T-shirts with stuff written with rude and offensive remarks like "I will trade wifi for my Brother", "I don't care" etc should not be encouraged. T-shirts of these types when shown in Scotland and Australia, people found it very offensive. He actually talked abt a guy he found wandering the Streets of  Australia who was wearing this type of T-shirt . When Dr. Sax approached he found out he was an American visiting Australia.

16) America is one of the leading countries where drugs are given to kids in the name of ADHD and Depression. The statistics he said was the whole of France does not prescribe medicine for these disorders as much as they would do in entire Houston. Any small issues with A Kid, he is treated with anti depression medicine. This is all destroying a generation.

17) He said religion is a very important factor in people's life. Now a day’s people have made popularity, fame, money etc as their God. When people lack a higher purpose in life then they try to make materialistic things as their end goal.
18) When they surveyed people in the 1980s in America as to what are the 15 most important qualities or  characteristics people should possess. Having good character and helping people etc were all top of the list and being famous was on number 15 on the list. Today becoming famous is at number one. Signs of the changing times.

19) There is a big industry that makes phone apps that look like calculators, but when you enter a certain number it opens into an app that shows pornographic images. This way the kids can fool their parents. It goes beyond this. If the kid shakes the phone before handing over to the parent, the app disappears without a trace, not even in the recent list. Unless u download certain monitoring software it will be difficult for parents to keep  on top of their kids online activity. Netnanny is one of the software he recommended.

20) The kids who are addicted to online bad video games, when we ask them, are there any changes in their personality, they compare themselves with who are their peers and in similar situation and feel that they are OK, normal. But they are not comparing with normal kids who are not addicted.

22) Having dinner/meal with family is very important. The kids who eat 7 or more times in a week with family vs those who eat alone, there is big difference in their stress level and self control and happiness

23) if you give 20 min screen time to your kids per day and if they don't use it, those min should  not roll over to future dates.

24) Sexting is very common nowadays.  It is felony in certain states  and kids may end up in jail. If a 16 year old is caught with explicit photos of another 16 year old on his/her phone, he or she will be charged and sent to jail and live as a registered sexual offender for rest of their life. Please make sure your kids are aware of the consequences of these acts.

25) Snapchat photos do not necessarily vanish in 5 sec. There are Apps that circumvent this restriction and allow you to take screen shots of photos without letting the sender know.

26) For current generation 'how they look' is more important than 'who they are'

27) Finally, the Doctor added a very important point. He said Human beings have the longest period of childhood of all Mammals. Horses run Derbys when they are aged 3. This is by design for a reason. God has created human beings to have a long period (18 years) in which they are nurtured and the values re-enforced so that they stick with the individual for the rest of his/her life. Once the formative years are lost it is very difficult for an individual to change.

I stumbled on this site on the internet while searching for meaning to my dream.
I had a dream this afternoon.
In the dream I was told to go to a particular mountain of food for my family.
The person that instructed me to go there was my mum. ( That is in the dream)
I went there and got a good one at first.
I went there the second time then I couldn't get good one. The ones I can get were fused together and hard has stone.
In the dream the this mountain is a very big mountain of food and it seem in the dream that everyone in the community go there to fetch.
I felt something was telling me to get the fused one home and work on it but at the same time I felt that if I go to other side of the mountain I can get good ones.
At this time it seem like the food ( which was supposed to be in form of flour) on the surface fused together and hard.
I went back home and took two cutlass and head for the food mountain.
I took other route to turn round and get to the back of the mountain.
While on my way I saw people roasting snake a live, but I wasn't distracted I continue on my journey.
On getting to the straight road that leads to the back of the mountain I met a colleague at work and then I follow him to no where in particular.
While we were going ( now on other route) we felt like eating he was to pay for the food.
I join the queue and then it get to my tire to make my order.
I asks for 3 wraps of Amala and two meat. but I noticed one was not good so I exchange it for eba.
But at this time in the dream I have left the forgot my family and any time I remember I feel my elder brother will take care of them ( he will give the money).
So I ordered the food but I noticed the soup is not enough. I did not ask her to put more.
And by this time I have already dropped the two cutlass on the floor.
I sat on the bench and start to eat.
The soup was not enough, I asked for more and I was given.
The soup got finished again and when I ask for more this time, the soup has finished, but just before this time that my colleague just entered to eat his own food.
The husband to the food vendor had to pour water to the very little stew in the pot to serve me out of pit. By this time it was night already and I remember by family again.
Then I work up..
I am some how scared and I need meaning to this dream.
I need help.

I have seen the plight of many students in Nigerian universities.although, I never experienced a lecturer harrassment throughout my stay in school,so many students are dying in silence in the hands of some evil men called lecturers while dragging this reputable profession to the mud.


HOW THESE EVIL LECTURERS VICTIMISE THEIR STUDENTS

It usually begins as from 200L when you start attending lectures seriously and your exams are been marked personally by lecturers that teaches you.

Females are mostly the victims,once the evil lecturer notice a beautiful girl or pick up interest in her,he start making lewd advances towards her.in this situation the girl might become intimidated and give in to his demands.if she refuses this evil man would make life miserable for the poor female student and fail her,he can even set a very tough exam with the intent of making everybody fail and this girl would come to beg him in his office.

Another way these evil men VICTIMISE students is that they fail to teach them very well but would rather choose to set difficult exam questions.when students know that they can't pass the exam,they would approach the lecturer with bribes and he would pass those who bribed him,while those who couldn't bribe him are left with the option of reading extra hard to pass or have a carry over.

HOW TO DEAL WITH LECTURERS WHO DERIVE PLEASURE IN SEXUAL MOLESTATION OF FEMALE STUDENTS

If you are a beautiful female student who haven't be victimised yet,I would advise you take your studies and research very very serious.try reading wide,don't limit yourself to only what the lecturer would teach if possible get a materials relating to your course from another university and always make sure you pray very hard.

WHAT IF A LECTURER PICK UP INTEREST AND IS MAKING SEXUAL ADVANCES ON YOU

At this critical point,you have to make your stance known and let him know your No means No.

Avoid visiting him alone and try to minimise the way you laugh at his jokes if possible don't laugh at the lewd statements he direct at you.Dont dress provocatively to his office and always be straight forward when you visit him at the office let him know you are in school for education and it's his job to teach you and not violate you.if possible get a recorder and also get any evidence of his advances on you.let your parents know your pains.dont appear weak let him know you have someone tougher in your family either a policeman or soldier lawyer etc you can even make a call and and let him see that atleast you aren't completely defenceless,you can hire the services of those mentioned above if necessary.

If he fails you and you are 100% sure that you passed the course,you can talk to your course adviser or Dean about it and if possible make a formal complaint and request for your script to be remarked.if your request isn't granted you can petition the school senate and address them officially and request for remark of your script.the school would tender to this issue and your script would be remarked either by another lecturer in the school or from another school


If all fails let everybody know what's is going on if possible you can harness the power of social media,influencers and also make a protest publicly about your situation,and I assure you the issue would be handled and someone even the government would definitely come to your rescue.dont die in silence,the lecturer isn't the owner of the school he is just using intimidation tactics to coerce you to give in to his demands.

If the lecturer is a type that collect bribes then read extra hard for his course.you might be lucky to get a D even if you deserve a B or he might just change his mind and give you a C or your deserved grade.

Never allow yourself to be intimidated by an evil and pervert lecturer

1. I saw a drunk man stagger and come into a house I was and go to where my cousin was sitting with her three little kids (same in real life) and go and accuse her of something. I asked her if she did it, and she denied and was saying something like it her mum. I also noticed that some people were in the corner also fixing some things in the house.

2. I saw a list and on the list there were some names (i think one page). Every name had a comment beside it and I saw the name of my friend and beside it was written ("the chosen one). This was the only name that was zoomed into

Although hard times may come, they pass me by because I am established in righteousness (Isaiah 54:14-15).

I declare that I fear no evil, because the Holy Spirit comforts me (Psalm 23). He lives inside of me. Greater is He Who is in me than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

I had this dream few hours ago while I was having a small nap in my shop..

I saw a female hen laying eggs with some hatched chicks, the chicks are the under hen. They sat at one corner inside my shop.
