Please Explain.

Good afternoon Prophet, Friends in Christ.

My Bible Reading and questions are taken from Matthew Chapter 15 verse 22-28.

"22 And behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same regions, and cried unto him saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, you son of David; my daughter is grieviously vexed with a demon.

23 But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she cries after us.

24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

25 Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.

26 But he answered and said, It is not right to take the children's bread, and cast it to dogs.

27 And she said, true, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.

28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is your faith: be it unto you even as you will. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour."

( Here I learnt Perserverance and Faith in prayers )

And in Matthew Chapter 16 verse 20

" Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ"

My questions:

1. Would Jesus deliberatly turn deaf ear to some people's request even when they had asked according to his will? We remember he came to set the captives free.

I can see the woman was good with words.

2. Do we need to be diplomatic in words or use proverbial sayings to God when the answer to our prayer seems not forthcoming?

3. Why did he charge his disciples to tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ? Had they done so, would it had prevented him from accomplishing his mission on earth?

Thank you.

I shall quote your questions or references word for word and with direct answers.

Quote:"22 And behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same regions, and cried unto him saying,Have mercy on me, O Lord, you son of David; my daughter is grieviously vexed with a demon.

At the emboldened ( mercy). Now here is what the bible has to say about it ;

◄ Romans 9:15 ►
For he says to Moses, "I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion."

You'd observe that the woman in question was pleading for mercy?that means all she needed for her son to be healed was Mercy....so, it's not just about her son deliverance but for her,her household or son to be shown mercy or adopted into the household of God which the children of Israel had on a platter of Gold..which brings us back the bible quote above(romans 9;15) and that's what mercy is all about.

Quote:23 But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she cries after us.

24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house Israel.

The above Bible quote or reference means ; Jesus knew she lacked the word " mercy " (salvation) but she was also aware of that hence she pressed on pleading for " mercy " ..she wouldn't give up nor stop asking because ....

¶ Mercy can't be bought
¶ All she wanted/needed was Mercy.
¶ Faith is the altimate price for Mercy.
¶ Another word for Mercy is redemption,salvation or favor.

So, yes, there are chosen one and there are chosen ones and generation but now we have it in abundance through Christ,faith in Christ. Also, you must understand that no one can see the face of God without faith! That's why Jesus said here in the book of ;

◄ Luke 11:5 ►
Then Jesus said to them, "Suppose you have a friend, and you go to him at midnight and say, 'Friend, lend me three loaves of bread; a friend of mine on a journey has come to me, and I have no food to offer him.
And suppose the one inside answers, 'Don't bother me. The door is already locked, and my children and I are in bed. I can't get up and give you anything.'
I tell you, even though he will not get up and give you the bread because of friendship, yet because of your shameless audacity he will surely get up and give you as much as you need.

As you can see, the book of Luke is exactly what played out between Jesus and the strange woman. So, as you can its all about faith daughter. Faith! Faith! And faith is the ultimate price for " Mercy " I.e : answer to prayers,healing,deliverance,open heaven......

And below..this sealed it all ;

Quote:28.Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is your faith: be it unto you even as you will. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour."

And that is it !

Quote:1. Would Jesus deliberatly turn deaf ear to some people's request even when they had asked according to his will? We remember he came to set the captives free.

NO! Because its either
¶ Faith was lacking.
¶ Faith was never enough.
¶ Many fail because they don't understand how God works,his timing and will for their lives.
Another fact could be ;
¶ Isaiah 59:1 ►
Surely the arm of the LORD is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear.
But your iniquities have separated you from your God;
your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.

..as this also taught us to always be firm when we ask God for something and remain unshaken even when it seems he's far from us or doesn't want to listen. This is where I will borrow your words ;

Perserverance and Faith in prayers

Yes, we must learn to seek and ask in wisdom and in accordance with his words, faith;

(((I can see the woman was good with words.))))))

Quote:]3. Why did he charge his disciples to tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ? Had they done so, would it had prevented him from accomplishing his mission on earth?

Because, just like he said here ;
Quote:23 But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she cries after us.
24 [b]But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

25 Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.

...Because you and I, and anyone that run to him,worship him in truth and seek him in truth? We are the Israelites of this generation, we are the chosen ones befause we found him but the world or no one would..by faith , and ..because ? They don't belief in him nor worship him or seek him that was exactly what Jesus was trying to portray.

But to answer your question away from spiritual interpretation I would say yes because ...Jesus had a mission to fulfilled within some period or years , and at and within these years or age range for him to fulfill his purpose he had to. ...and no he wouldnt have fulfilled his mission as a whole but cut off/short knowing how the world detest his mission and what he stood for.

End!
You any of my answers not clear enough? Do not hesitate to ask or update this thread.
